In the Gospel of John, Jesus said, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life". (John 3:16)

It is important to know that Jesus will not force Himself into our lives. All we must do to know Him is to freely invite Him into our hearts and lives.

If you want to know Jesus and obtain the unperishable hope of eternal life, here are three easy steps:

You must acknowledge that you have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

The wages of our sin is death, and not only physical death, but eternity separated from God. (Romans 6:23a)

Acknowledge that you are a sinner by nature in desperate need of a Savior.

You must believe in your heart that Jesus is who He says He is and declare Him as your Lord and Savior.

You must confess your sins before God, repent from your sins, and turn to God.
(1 John 1:9)

By placing your faith in Jesus Christ, you are now at peace with God. (Romans 5:1)

Confess that Jesus is your Lord and Savior before men!

Jesus said, "Whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in Heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in Heaven".

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)

"Jesus, I understand that I have sinned and my sin has separated me from You. I believe You that You came to save sinners like me. I want to turn from my sin and live for You, Jesus. Please forgive me of all my sin against You and others. I want You to be my Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for the promise of eternal life that I have received from You. I confess right now that you Jesus, are my Lord and Savior. Amen"
